Desi Dost Kitty is specifically for couples and families. We don’t offer single registration — it’s part of what makes the vibe so special!
What if my kids are very young — is that okay? +
Absolutely. Babies, toddlers, school-age — all welcome. We are a family community and we genuinely mean it when we say kids belong at the table.
Where is the event held? +
We partner with curated Indian restaurants in the GTA/Mississauga area. The exact venue is shared only with confirmed, paid guests — it keeps the event exclusive and safe.
What’s included in the $30 per couple? +
Your $30 covers welcome drinks and snacks for both of you, your kitty draw entry, and your reserved seat for the evening. Dinner at the restaurant is ordered and paid separately per couple.
Can I cancel or get a refund? +
We understand life happens! Cancellations made 48+ hours before the event can be applied as a credit to your next session. No cash refunds within 48 hours.
I don’t have a referral — can I still join? +

Why is this application-only? +
We want a room full of genuine business owners — people who build things, serve their community, and value real relationships. A curated, approved guest list protects the quality and experience for everyone at the table.
How does the approval process work? +
Once you submit your application, our team reviews it within 48 hours. We look at your business type, how you heard about us, and whether you’re a good fit for the community. All decisions are at our discretion and we reserve the right to decline without providing a reason.
Can I pitch my business at the event? +
No formal pitching or selling is allowed. This is a relationship-building space. Natural conversation about your business is encouraged — cold selling is not. The referrals come organically when people know, like, and trust you.
When and where are business events held? +
Business events are held separately from the couples events, at curated restaurants in the GTA/Mississauga area. Date and venue are shared with approved members only.
Can I attend both the couples events AND the business events? +
Absolutely! You’re welcome to register for both — just use the appropriate registration form for each. Couples events are family-focused; business events are professional-focused.
